This afternoon, Introduction to Nanotechnology students from West Los Angeles College (WLAC) had the opportunity to examine advanced microscopes up close and personal at the Center for Electron Microscopy and Microanalysis (CEMMA) at the University of Southern California (USC). The whole class was eager to learn and many students asked insightful questions.
Too often, community college students do not have the same opportunities for hands-on learning that they would at a large research university. Thanks to Omni Nano’s program and the generosity of USC, we are working hard to close this gap.
